Good news Benoit Mandelbrot Fractal Art Contest 2009 is closed and the winners are post it.
And too my surprise I DID MAKE IT !!!

Now if you click in the left pane you can see all the entries for this year, and it was tons...tons, so I'm very happy that they chose
one of my images, and apo as well (since my other 2 submissions were made in ultrafractal).
What an amazing honor to be spotted, especially for Me, since I'm pretty new to fractals and my creations were competing against more experienced users of the programs.
This is my winning Entry - made in Apo, from elliptic/splits combination which happens to be one of my favorite styles, big thank you to two people =Meckie for making amazing gradients and one of them is used in this image and also huge, humangess thank you to ~Jeddaka, who rendered the piece for me in his super-non-human fast computer, since the exhibit entry was requested at 12000pixels dimension
