Incendia1.3

This spiral I'm very pleased with - the colors and the shape are just right ....no fogging, the right amount of shine ...the lighting is good

Now !!! :lmao:
The backgrd image is not what I intended :( - why because the image I wanted to use would not load.
I have the image in a bmp form (as Incendia likes), it's small as the backgrd images are between 700-1000kB, is inside Incendia folder 'images'.
Have the backgrd in enviro selected  and it loads - pure blackness !!!
Has anybody have a 'trick' for those happenings ...

Cool! You ARE on a roll!! As far as the image problem - Is the image you want to load square? I make a lot of backgrounds using Ultrfractal and usually make them 1024x1024 or 2048x2048. I'm not 100% sure, but the image may have to be square to load properly into Incendia ... :-)

This one is perfect - the colors are right-on as I had
them and too bad about the 'beach view' under it...but
maybe this looks cleaner ...

Yup have no clue why some things get rejected they all
bmp's all square, and I even try not to make them too
big - could be a glitch within software
I might ask Aexion ...when I run into him :lmao:

I actually like the background, and I love the fractal!
As for the image you tried to load, the other ones are in the 'textures' folder, but I've never tried to put a background in from my own files in Incendia, I usually save the piece, no background, then put it in GIMP over top of any background I open up. Hope it helps! :D

Thank you  I like the spiral and I had this cool water image to go with the wave ;)
well.... I have made some new backgrds from my bryces and fractals (running filters in PS) and reduce them in size as well as converted them into bitmaps.
The puzzle is this - some of them work, some don't and I have no clue why O_o

well..lets see if anybody else has any ideas
We can learn ;)
