This is the first time I saw fractal art like this. While I am not the biggest fan of muted colors, they are definitely important factors to the artwork. Using four lines that meet at a square for fractals is very original. And having the repeating patterns inside the square works well. When I look at the big picture, I would say that this picture shows a large pile of fractals, one on top of each other. The thick black lines draw attention to the fractals as well as outline them. The fractals remind me of each colored shard in the stained-glass windows of a cathedral. The dusty haze at the corners actually help me think it's from a stained-glass window.
