INSPIRATION STATION pt3

Inspiration Station is a joined community effort - started up by our fractal gallery volunteer Light SuicideBySafetyPin
It features artists, who made an impact on the Fractal community, either via inspiration of artworks or selfless attitude of helping
others & coding programs we all enjoy and use. I would like to introduce the featured artists by using quotes from published journals.
Welcome to pt3

:iconsuicidebysafetypin:  n8iveattitude1

dwsel  says  This person really deserves a feature and special journal. Not only because Light is great fractal artist but also very dedicated member of DA community, basically a head of the fractal community.

phoenixleo  says  What do I say about Light? If you are new to deviantART and are interested in fractals, or have already been doing fractals and haven't seen Light's popular fractal chatroom hub #Aposhack room, then you are really missing out all the fun and info and help you would get in the fractal community!  The number of fractalists that visit that room and help new users are amazing not to mention Light stays online a lot (Yes she sleeps, but I don't know how long o_O ). Also, you all should see her excellent yet 'small' gallery  Really! Her energy and devotion to fractal community even before her CV term is unexplainable (but we will try to explain it D: )

Spamkiller says  The tenth installement of the Inspiration Station is dedicated to Light ^n8iveattitude1! She is a great fractal artist, with the most ginormous fractal gallery ever (check it out, if you don't believe me!), our current GM, she bursts with awesome ideas all the time, runs the chat Aposhack, and she is practically EVERYWHERE. ALL THE TIME!!! I don't know how she does that! The day I know, I'll rule the world (she is too good to do that herself)!!

caffe1neadd1ct  says  This weeks inspiration station is dedicated to ^n8iveattitude1.  Light is one of the nicest people I've ever met and I'm proud and happy to be able to call her my friend.  The fractal community on dA is very lucky to have her!

Xyrus-02 says I would like to raise my voice here to honor the probably most valuable member of the fractal community since Mr. Mandelbrot (may he rest in peace) - I'm speaking of our current responsible community volunteer and the head behind the Aposhack chat room! I'm speaking of ^n8iveattitude1 or, as most of us know her: Light. Simply said, Light is hell of a person. She keeps this community alive since years but not only that, she also keeps breathing new life in this rather small but incredibly warm and friendly collection of fractal loving folks. Without her chat, we would have no place to meet. Without her dedication, we would have no caring community. Without her works, we would have way less things to be inspired of.

buddhakat9 says this week we are featuring the creator and driving force behind the Inspiration Station, the one, the only  ...SuicideBySafetyPin she has such an awesome gallery, selecting only a few can hardly do her talented self justice, so I just hope that inspired by this week's Fractal Flashmob Feature you will visit her gallery and oooooohhhh and aaahhhhh over her well honed skill as a fractalist, in general, as an Apo-ist specifically (let's not forget photography, MB3D, UF, etc, etc, etc)... and don't forget to visit her in the ~Aposhack where she regularly shares many of her tricks of the trade...  she is an amazing woman, a talented artist and a generous spirit... we  you, Light... thank you for all you have done for us, the fractal community, on DA....

Fiery-Fire  says Light has been one of my dear fractal friends for pretty much three full years now ss and I can not even imagine, where I would be without Light, her param help, organizing things for everybody, making sure you having fun (and not only fractal) !! Light is always on highbeams for us. Light is one of the founders of my ultimately fave fractal chat #Aposhack and she is ...always there !!
If you really need to understand the 'value and speed of light' read this
Indian Chief Two Eagles, head of his nation, met with a white government officials and was asked, "You have observed the white man for 90 years.
You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done."
The Chief nodded in agreement.
The officials continued, "Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?"
The Chief stared at the government official for quite some time, and then calmly replied. "When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work; Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex."
The goverment officials looked at each other in total agreement, and said, "What you say is true, but..."
The chief waved his hand to stop the officials from speaking, leaned back and with a sly smile said, "Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that."

Hang -on, have to get coffee, two packs of smokes & at least one sandwich before going to Light's gallery to fetch some awesome works I love
larger example from Light's gallery as % wise she is way ahead of all of us :lmao: light years ahead ;)

Clepsidras  says This week, the great Dauna,  is the target of our 007 fractal eye mob. Dauna is known around the fractal community for her community work but moreso, she is known by her great gallery. Not only she shines in fractal art, but also she dabbles and wins in photography and digital paintings. Sophquest have a very peculiar and particular style. It is impossible not to feel the feminine side when roaming in her gallery, with the themes and colours she likes to use and her abstracts are breathtaking with details and colours, looking like paintings.

kr0mat1k  says This DA veteran used to be a helpfull gallery moderator and spent a lot of time for this community. Let's thank her for that

FractalEuphoria  says This week the Inspiration Station features one of our former fractal gallery directors, `Sophquest aka Dauna!  Dauna is a wonderfully talented and inspirational woman, and her gallery is filled with beautiful paintings, photographs, photomanips and, of course, fractals. Here's a small selection of art from her gallery.

fractek  says I have always admired  She is a very talented artist and a great part of the fractal community on Deviant art.   You deserve this, Luv!

Lucy--C says  A former fractal gallery moderator, her Ultra Fractal works are always very elegant, a real beauty: don't miss her gallery!

lindelokse  says Dauna `Sophquest is probably one of the most kind, inspiring and supporting artists here at deviantART. Her gallery is rich in delicate and astonishing fractals and photographs, so wonderful in her highly recognizable style, with elegant feminine hues, shapes, subjects and compositions and soft tonal shifts. Her journal is often filled with beautiful features of artworks she found inspiring and worth sharing with us all (and I personally find her features some of the best selections ever, I always found new favorites among them!!!) and her work as Gallery Moderator for fractal art is remembered and recognized by everyone as outstanding and impeccable. Also, she actively promotes Lupus Awareness, sharing support with contests and informations. A wonderfully well deserved Inspiration Station feature for sure, go show this amazing lady your support and appreciation and thank her for all the great things she has done for our community!!! Thank you Dauna

timemit   says  IDeviant  aka UltraGnosis.......... If your into fractals you gotta go check out Ians stuff, here is someone who not only really undestands the math and the workings of Apo in relation to it but is also able to express this in a truly artistic fashion. so if you dig Super high quality rich renders of delicious imagery, excellent resources and tutorials and friendly heplful advice go drool over his gallery and give him some  dAlove

Avantgarda  says He has a very unique apophysis style, I'm always speechless at all his fractals. He's also there with an answer anytime one has any. Please pay a visit to his gallery, and don't for get to check is great tutorials too

phoenixkeyblack  says You guys should probably take a look in ~IDeviant's gallery ... Ian really has made Apophysis his bitch ...

jadenkanan  says He has quite the gallery of apo works that use textures you don't often see done but he does a good job at it. So if you haven't yet go take a look at his gallery.

Velvet--Glove  says Ian has many intriguing and highly detailed fractal pieces in his gallery, most of which have been executed with great skill, artistry and care. Below you will find a small selection of his work which I hope you will enjoy as much as I did. For more goodies do put aside a little time to go and browse through his gallery in more detail, you will not be disappointed!

rvallync  says  This week, the honor goes to ~IDeviant (Ian Anderson)  Fractalist, Artist, Renaissance Man.

Pasternak  says  ~IDeviant has a blog where he describes how he has developed or explored some techniques for apophysis: freerangeapophysis.wordpress.c…   He's awesome for that. He's also successful at developing texturing techniques in apophysis (not an easy task), he developed the "gnarled glynnias" technique (as far as I know he was the first)

esintu  says See, I was worried that I may have run out of fractals to feature from ~IDeviant as he's made it to a majority of journal features I've done in the past and even had an entire one dedicated to him under the name of Early Influences - but of course another visit to his gallery quickly convinced me otherwise  I said it many times before but I'll say it again for the sake of this journal not looking weird among others featuring his art; Ian was a huge influence for me as I was working with Apophysis and even after I switched to UF with his rich textural works.
