Blast from the past fractals

Upon my resurfacing back to deviantart, I have read journals from one of my fractal friends FarDareisMai Jess and I wish to "steal" the idea of memory lane, artists who inspired me and shaped me, motivated me to become better and more creative with my fractals ... 
You know once in awhile it's good to pay tribute to those who shined some light on you, to remember your art roots and how hard you worked to become more exquisite artist (I did work on my compositions sometimes thru many sleepless nights) ... not sure if I'm any better now artistically, but I do have to admit, spending more time with the fractal softwares gave me more versed skills in using them.
I don't claim to understand all, probably not every formula, plugin has been researched and used, but I got more time - as I'm not planning to quit anytime soon ...
